The natural gardening analogy for passive income

Printing passive income can be as simple as natural gardening for a hobby. Just like you can grow hundreds of tomatoes, or thousands of dandelions, you can earn hundreds of thousands of dollars yes, passively.

Gardening can be complex, but it can also be simple. Plant seeds, nurture Plants, Harvest Fruit.

Once you have tilled the soil, planting the seeds is pretty simple. How are you need to take care of the seeds until they sprout, and then when you have plants, you need to take care of the plants. Water them, give them sunlight, pull the weeds.

Once these plants mature, you will have the fruits of your labor.

Earning money online can be very similar.

Planting seeds, is simply creating content on the Internet that generates interest. This will attract attention from people that are interested in what it is that you are offering.  Building a business is one thing, and building a business for resale is another. If you have a franchise business can you sell it someday? It is hard enough to build a business to be profitable, let alone building it strategically.  These are two very different aspects of building a business. My old business partner wanted to create a job for himself, so he is still operating the business that we started.  In addition to teaching and coaching, there is the affiliate marketing model, where you promote other peoples products and services, and earn a commission from them. I personally prefer this business model, and that you can do your promotion anytime of the day or night, and the sales and fulfillment are handled by the product creator. 

 The passive affiliate marketing model is significantly different than the hands on coaching model. Although there are some elements of coaching and teaching that you can automate, and make Evergreen. Four example creating some courses that people can buy and learn on their own. However, there is always going to be some handholding when you have students. 

 With the affiliate marketing model, you are the middleman, and the creator of the product needs to take care of the customers.

Time Freedom and Efficient Meetings Events and Trade Shows

One on one coffee meetings may be a waste of time.

Taking the time to drive across town to meet one person for coffee, then having the meeting, purchasing coffee, then taking the time to drive back to your office maybe a very inefficient use of your time.

A more productive time use might be leveraging the power of video streaming online, or perhaps social media advertising.

Also one of my favorite methods of getting new business, is attending tradeshows and expos as an exhibitor. When you take the time to select a proper trade show or event, you can meet a lot of very qualified people in a very short time window.

Trade shows are very cost effective when done correctly. When done wrong they are very expensive.

Collaborative Relationships Accelerate Success

The word “collaboration“ is being thrown out a lot these days. Some people, feel like collaborating will take away from their primary objective.

The reality is, it will probably accelerate, and manifest faster and easier.

I like to use analogies. So the analogy I am using for collaboration, will be attempting to move a couch by your self, or with the help of another person.

I explain it better in this video.

Imagine trying to lift a couch and move it all by your self. It may be light, but it is still long and clunky, and would be difficult to move.

I agree, that collaborating with someone that has a goal or objective that is not at all like yours, would be a conflict of interest. However if your goals and objectives are similar, the “synergy” (or synchronized energy) would accelerate the manifestation of your goals.
