Marketing Automation is Killing Community

 

How come Social Media actually isn’t very social?

In this day and age of the internet, it “appears” that 100s and 1,000s of people are in “communication” with each other. But are they actually, communicating?

I mean… are “they” (the people) actually communicating with each other? Or, are they flashing past 1,000s of posts, using the “one-click” features that have been so graciously added to our social media platforms. (I used the term “social” reluctantly.

If you’ve been on Facebook Messenger or LinkedIn Messaging recently, you’ve perhaps noticed those convenient little buttons that provide you with your convenient reply with a single click.

You can reply with a… “My Pleasure” or “You’re Welcome” with a single click, and then get on with you busy day.

The actual “human” engagement online has been whittled down to two or three words, or sometimes just one word. (unless or course they are political or controversial) JEESH!

If Social Media isn’t actually “social”, then why use Social Media?

It is my belief that Social Media is “societies media” and with it, we have the ability to exchange information globally. That’s it. I use the internet to sell Business Education products and promote events online. My biggest challenge is extracting the “human factor” from the plethora of online profiles that have polluted our internet superhighway.

My personal agenda these days online is to get more VIDEO interaction.

This is why I built out www.MySynergyCafe.com as a platform for Business Owners and Entrepreneurs to meet online for a “virtual coffee” to discuss and share ideas and projects.

I’ve also set up MagicBrad.TV as a platform to do VIDEO Interviews in a TalkShow type format to learn about the various project launches, book releases and events etc. (Would you like an interview on your business, then go to www.MagicBrad.TV and click on the “Book My Interview” banner)

The 4 (four) Primary Product Types Needed to Make Money Online

What do you need to make money online and become financially free?

Most people that attempt Internet Marketing to Make Money Online FAIL.

And here’s why…

The reason most fail, is they try to sell THOUSANDS of one-off products or one time offers, and they don’t have a high-ticket product to sell to create a significant enough profit, and they get discouraged because their advertising, marketing and other business expenses exhausted all the income.

To be successful, you need to have a series of products to offer. It is very expensive to “acquire” a lead/customer and much less expensive to “retain” a customer/client.

Start with a very low priced (or free) introductory offer, to attract your ideal prospect, with the intention of making them customers.

  1. *Freebee Offer type product. It is like a “free sample” to attract prospective customers.
  2. Paid Product is something that has a price. It sorts out the browsers from the “buyers”.
  3. Recurring type product that pays you month after month after month like a subscription.
  4. High-Ticket offer type product helps to provide a more significant profit margin.

*The “freebee” type product has been over used.

Then move them up the ladder and offer additional products and services.

We are doing this with the Synergy Collaborative and the Synergy Lifestyle Academy. We have membership levels from beginner to advanced and into graduate and alumni.

Also for more higher priced items we have live in-person events, such as Masterminds, Retreats, Costa Rica Tours and Travel etc. Some of these are commissionable for Affiliate Marketers.

Travel to Costa Rica is Easy with the Synergy Collaborative

I admit, I’m no multi-millionaire driving around in a (rented) Lamborghini. I’m not interested in impressing you. I would, however, like to earn your trust and respect and perhaps do some joint ventures or collaboration with you some day to make money online and create more financial and time freedom.

How to Hire a Business Coach… Hold their feet to the fire ????

You might be wondering how to hire a business coach.

Request they get on Video with you.

 

It is my personnel belief that if a person is not willing to show their face, they are not trust worthy. I’m not going to put my time and energy AND MONEY into a person that does not have the ability to “be real” and genuine. As far as I am concerned, if they are going to avoid a visual connection, they will probably avoid fulfilling their promised too.

When looking for a business coach, or someone that claims to be one, you need to be aware that many of these people are highly skilled in neuro linguistic programming for what is called NLP.

NLP is a very powerful method of communication, and can be used to manipulate people into doing things.  There are some unethical coaches and marketers out there online, that will use these techniques to make a person feel less than they are and leverage these techniques to almost killed someone in to purchasing a product or service.

Be very careful when interviewing your contacts.

Don’t trust the internet trolls.

Is Affiliate Marketing the Secret Sauce?

This will be refreshing to see.

 
Finally, someone that wants to help others, and will actually help others. (It’s often BS talk)
 
It usually goes the other way, where “leaders” have had success with a specific program or company, and then “share their secret” for a fee.
 
I’ve always been puzzled as to why someone would “teach others for a fee” rather than just continue to earn from the business or company they are already representing. ESPECIALLY when there are multiple tiers/levels, like in Multi-Level Marketing, where the leader earns residuals from the results of their “downline”.
In the MLMs I’ve tried (I’ve only tried a few), I recall, the excitement and passion that my sponsors had BEFORE I signed on. They were all passionate and excited to help me succeed. They told me… “You are in business for yourself, but not by yourself.” over and over. Then AFTER I signed, they seemed to fade away. This was not totally the fault of the disingenuous Upline Leaders, but also the fault of the BROKEN Network Marketing Industry Model (IMO).
The problem with the “Old Model” Network Marketing methods is they are “linear”, and can not be built using the internet, because the internet is not linear. The internet grows OMNI-directional.
The internet grows FAST. It spreads so fast and rapidly, that we can not keep up and we lose our authentic connection with our affiliates. (There is a better way, and I am developing it.)
 
Why not simply help your downline affiliate succeed, and be content with the residual commissions from your downline affiliates success??
 
The online coaching and affiliate world has been tarnished and contaminated by those “Bait and Switch” type tactics.
Let’s put an end to the greed and gluttony.
