What is Numerology and is it Valid?

What is numerology?

Numerology is any belief in the divine or mystical relationship between a number and one or more coinciding events. People often ask the question, What is Numerology? Skeptics also want to know if it is a valid method of divination.

It is also the study of the numerical value of the letters in words, names and ideas. It is often associated with the paranormal, alongside astrology and similar divinatory arts. Despite the long history of numerological ideas, the word “numerology” is not recorded in English before c.1907. The term numerologist can be used for those who place faith in numerical patterns and draw pseudo-scientific inferences from them, even if those people do not practice traditional numerology. For example, in his 1997 book Numerology: Or What Pythagoras Wrought, mathematician Underwood Dudley uses the term to discuss practitioners of the Elliott wave principle of stock market analysis.

Skeptics argue that numbers have no occult significance and cannot by themselves influence a person’s life. Skeptics therefore regard numerology as a superstition and a pseudoscience that uses numbers to give the subject a veneer of scientific authority. Two studies have been done investigating numerological claims, both producing negative results, one in the UK in 1993, and one in 2012 in Israel. The experiment in Israel involved a professional numerologist and 200 participants. The experiment was repeated twice and still produced negative results.

Today on SynergyCafe, I interviewed Nina Schluntz about her new book series. A very interesting romance about Dragons and Healers.

From what I was able to get from the conversation, is the basic theme is that good and evil need to learn how to get along. It is about boundaries and understanding.

In this SynergyCafe interview, I speak with “Daniel the Healer”.

Omni Delano needs no Dream Dictionary for Inspired book titled Lily’s Awakening

Today on SynergyCafe I interviewed, author, Omni Delano. Her first book in a series is called, “Lily’s Awakening” and is available on, of course, Amazon and other places.

About the Author

Omni Delano is a mother of two girls and one boy. In 2012, doctors found a tumor on Omni’s pituitary gland, located just under the brain. As a result, she could no longer work and she had to give up her recently acquired managerial role. Rather than sit around at home in pain, doing nothing all day, she decided to start writing. This resulted in Omni’s first series, Elemental Guardians. Travel to Costa Rica is Easy with the Synergy Collaborative

The concept of travel to Costa Rica is easy, but are you prepared?

I must admit, my recent trip to Costa Rica was actually very easy.

Part of the reason it was so easy, his was that I went with my friend Nick Halvorson.  He has been traveling to Costa Rica for 12 or 13 years. He has a development down there with 150 acres, and has been traveling to Costa Rica to help manage multiple properties there.

It was also helpful that Nick is fluent in speaking Spanish, because I do not.

The drive from the airport, to our destination at the development, was a pleasant one. As we drove down the coast I had the opportunity to observe and enjoy the scenery.  A couple of the stops we made were at places where there was a surfing community with hostels, and also an ex patriot community with bars.

Costa Rica is approximately 1/5 the size of the state of Minnesota.  I find that amazing.  Another amazing fact, about Costa Rica, is there are three times more microclimates in Costa Rica then there are in the United States and Canada combined.

The purpose of my trip to Costa Rica, was I am researching some land for building and event center on next development.  If you are an event planner, or yoga retreat coordinator, or wedding planner, or meditation teacher, or some other type of spiritual or healing modality, I would be interested in chatting with you further.

I have some interesting plans for the future as we develop this retreat center.
