I have been to the Abbott Magic Store in Michigan a couple of times. Do I remember the name of the city? Yes I do.

The Abbot Magic Store is in Colon, Michigan.

Living in Minneapolis Minnesota most of my life, I have been to the Eagle Magic Store many more times.

I recall as a very young child paging through the Abbot Magic Catalog with my friend David Stahl. He and I would sit for hours looking and reading the descriptions of the different illusions and effects.

As we grew older, we started performing our parlor act on stages in the greater Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul area. We did a show with ten doves, two rabbits and two female assistance. As we got older, and add more responsibilities, we eventually disbanded, and Dave and myself started doing our own presentations working for corporations at special events and tradeshows.

I continue to have a passion for magic at my current age of 64, and enjoy interviewing Magicians on my video show.

I first saw this routine of Cylinder and Coins on Penn and Teller Fool Us performed by Eric Mead.

When I saw it done, it looked like REAL MAGIC, so I just had to learn it.

I have made some changes and innovations that suits my style, but it is essentially the same routine that Eric did for Penn and Teller.

Back in the 70s, 80s and 90s, I was performing magic full-time here in Minneapolis Minnesota. I sure was a stand up comedy magic show, and I also did strolling walk around at Corporate Parties and Convention.

I have been a huge advocate of using direct mail marketing postcards to get more business since the 1970s.

In my opinion, using the United States Postal Service to deliver your message to an ideal prospect is superior, dependable and affordable.

First off, a physical postcard lasts a lot longer than a digital click. Because of this longevity, the probability of your marketing message being noticed and recognized is much better than the online craziness.

In the video below, I discuss this with a friend of mine.

What I am doing, is using QR codes on the copy of the postcard, that directs my prospects to my offers. The recipient of the postcard, can hold onto the card as a reminder, and then visit the online landing page at the time of their choosing.

What I really love about this software, are the features inside that allow you to automate sanding, and print merge your content so it is more personalized. I also like the list builder where you can purchase mailing lists that are specific to demographic and geographic specifics of your choosing.

You can purchase lists, that allows you to select gender, age, household, Income, SIC codes, and even the radius around a specific address.

Hope for Humanity!

We need to come together and unite on a global scale. Granted, our minds tend to think in a polarity or duality. Left right, up down, in out.

There are three main elements and issues that we need to address. Emotion, government and technology.

On an emotional level, people have become very mean and disrespectful. They are hiding behind their monitors and keyboards and insulting other fellow human beings. What makes matters worse, is some of these people that are victims of this hate and abuse, tend to start to believe the insults. People will start changing the way they naturally are, to please other people so they are no longer bullied.

On a governmental level, the people in our government are essentially clueless regarding technology. Technology is moving so rapidly, that any regulations or laws that are created and implemented, are obsolete before they are passed. The government is not able to move fast enough to create sufficient program to regulate or govern any of the technology.

The technology has become worshiped. People now go to google, to find information. And they believe what they read is the truth when it is very possible that information was created by someone that is misinformed.

So then, what is the solution?

In my opinion, the solution is stop listening with your brain, and start feeling with your heart. Learn to be kind to fellow human beings. Try to understand different points of view. Give and then receive.
