Generally speaking, the primary health care principles are Accessibility, Public Participation, Health Promotion, Appropriate Skills and Technology and Intersectoral Cooperation.
But what does this mean in normal every day language? Personally, I get frustrated when I see words that I don’t really understand. So far, what I see here is the participation of the people, which is a no-brainer. Also then health promotion seems very logical to me. Then appropriate skills and technology seems like that would be common sense. Then I see intersectoral cooperation and I get lost.
So, I need to go google the word intersectorial, and I find that it means multiple sectors.
Health education, housing and the government.
What a weird combination of sectors.
I took health education in grade school. Why is the government so involved in housing (real estate) and why is health and housing involved with the government?
When you take a step back, it makes total sense that the government would be involved in a couple areas that we require to survive.
We need our health, and we need a roof over our head for security.
Regarding our health, eat well, exercise, and have a clean positive wealthy and healthy mindset.
Regarding our housing, do not get into more house than you can handle. Live within your means. Work on personal development, and increase your value so you can earn a living.
