networking meaning definition
What is it? What is networking? The word networking does not seem very human. It sounds like connecting a bunch of computers into a network.
The word networking sounds more like a technology term. The business people that use the word networking, are actually referring to the social interaction in a business environment where the agenda is to help connect business people into a community.
This is my own issue, I understand.
Another word that I have an issue with, is the confusion of what affiliate marketing is. Many people will say that affiliate marketing is like network marketing or multi level marketing. This is very far from the truth.
Granted, people that are working in a network marketing organization or a multi level marketing organization are affiliated with the company, but they are not actually doing affiliate marketing in my opinion.
To me, affiliate marketing is simply being the middleman between a product and a prospect. You are affiliated with the company that create the products and services, but you are not an employee of these companies. You are more of a contractor.
